Dixie Chopper Plans a 2,000-plus mile trip via lawn mower from Coatesville, Ind., to Sacramento, Calif. This Clean Cut Across America is to promote the awareness and use of propane as a clean, green alternative and to promote the availability of the Dixie Chopper LP3000 lawn mower, a propane-powered unit already in production at Dixie Chopper's central Indiana facilities. And to let the world know that Dixie Chopper and Generac Power Systems already have the technology and equipment in place to produce an environmentally friendly lawn mower and engine.

National Sales Manager Matt Land, who will drive the mower from Coatesville to Sacramento, to meet with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, depicted as a new, real-life hero as featured on the cover of Newsweek magazine in “Arnold Saves the Planet.” Matt and his team will be traveling via the historic Route 66, stopping at state capitals along the way, including Springfield, Ill., Oklahoma City, Austin, Texas, Santa Fe and Phoenix, as well as St. Louis and Los Angeles.

They will be leaving Dixie Chopper headquarters located in Coatesville, Indiana Monday, April 23 and arriving in Sacramento on May 10. Check out propanemower.com for updates on this fantastic journey.
