Indiana 8th District Republican congressional candidate Greg Goode (seated) got a tour of the Dixie Chopper facility in Greencastle on April 7, meeting with Media Marketing Director Rick Judy and others.
Goode, who was accompanied by campaign chairman Dennis Campbell, said he was trying to familiarize himself with the Putnam County area and its industries, and had heard many good things about Dixie Chopper.
His potential opponent in the November election, incumbent Democrat Brad Ellsworth also knows a little bit about Dixie Chopper.
When Ellsworth was running to unseat the previous incumbent in 2006, it was suggested that as Vanderburgh County sheriff, he had used inmates to do his Evansville yard work.
The response to that was this: Not only did he not use inmates for yard work, but "he has a nice, Indiana-manufactured Dixie Chopper and enjoys mowing his own property early every week."
