Dixie Chopper mower plays big role on 'Little People' TV show

One of Dixie Chopper’s biggest fans is one of the world’s most famous "Little People."

Matt Roloff, patriarch of the Roloff family of “Little People Big World” and a giant in the world of reality TV, is now the proud owner of a 2011 Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle 2760HP. The lawn mower is being incorporated into the TLC (The Learning Channel) reality TV series this fall.

TV outdoors show to feature Chuck Parker, Dixie Chopper

The Blue Collar Spotlight will put Dixie Chopper employee Chuck Parker in the national TV spotlight -- fittingly enough – on Labor Day weekend.

Parker, who works on the assembly line at Dixie Chopper’s Fillmore/Coatesville plant, will be featured on the cable TV program “The American Way.” The half-hour show focuses on the outdoors and airs on the Pursuit Channel on DirecTV (Channel 608).

The episode featuring Parker and Dixie Chopper is scheduled to initially air at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 and be rerun at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4.

Dixie Chopper salutes USCG with unique theme mower

Dixie Chopper and the U.S. Coast Guard may seem like complete opposites, but put them together and a unique bond is created.

While the Coast Guard has the air and seas covered for coastal defense or search and rescue, Dixie Chopper is a down-to-earth, land-loving, grass-eating mowing machine. Yet similarities abound.

Dixie Chopper-sponsored Jake Zaring provided his own fireworks on the pro pulling truck circuit over the Fourth of July weekend.

Zaring and his Dixie Chopper Dodge captured the Pro Modified 4-Wheel Drive Truck class in two separate holiday weekend events. He won the Bluegrass Summer Showdown July 2 at Stanford, Ky., outdoing 21 other pullers at 312.42 feet. And on July 3 in the Cock-A-Doodle Days event at Corydon, Zaring fashioned a 323.74-foot pull, two feet better than any of his 18 competitors.

Holderied sets the pace aboard Xcaliber mower at Virginia track

RURAL RETREAT, Va. -- The Dixie Chopper name and logo were just about everywhere when the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series made its first-ever visit to the half-mile clay oval at Wythe Raceway on Saturday, May 15.
